Earliest Transport:
The
concept of automotive came direct from the burden of the beasts. It all started
from animals pulling carts which was the only source of communication. Mainly
horses, camels and even dogs were used as transport. People tend to have lived
a normal life style preferring being local. It was basically the medium for
transport. All that started to change the landscape of human civilization. But due
of lack of knowledge, human realized that animals can be dangerous of times and
had raw power that could put the lives of others at risk and lower the risk of
animal cruelty.
The
Rise of Henry Ford:
After
huge success of Ford, there was no doubt that Henry Ford became a huge success
for the automobile industry. But he made big mistakes as well.
At
the start of the 20th century, Gasoline engines were fast and reliable
yet they were pretty expensive. Henry Ford was no scientist. He was just repairer
in watches and machines. He had a unique bond with machines which led him to build
an empire so big which has a name in the present as well. His first car was
just like a four-wheel bike which was known as “Quadricycle”. The idea of Ford logo
came as Henry Ford loved machinery but hated horses. He ought to put them two
together in the simplest possible way. It took him 12 years to get everything
right when started the company Ford. When the Model T was launched. It became a
huge success as it was affordable for the general public. Ford made around 15
Million units of Model T that were eventually sold.
Japanese Auto-industry:
Japan’s auto industry is still the central production network in Asia. The growth triggered the economic recession in the year 1990 and 2000 had balanced in sources of profit. This caused the population of the small firms to decline and demanded labor division, supply chain to be redesigned and reshaped. This had an effect on internal combustion engines and powertrains which is directly linked to transportation and energy policies.
Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are the top three car manufacturers in Japan. Their operations and quality of products have been spread widely around the world. Japan made of its fortune through its excessive increase in its automobile exports.
5.5 million people in Japan are currently employed in the automotive industry. That makes 8.7 percent of the total population in Japan
